A Saturday out and about across the constituency
At the end of may I was very pleased to be able to support a couple of fantastic community events in Jordanhill and Blairdardie.
I started the day with Councillor Eunis Jassemi at the Jordanhill Parish Church coffee morning. It was lovely to spend time chatting with local residents and I enjoyed the chance to see the Close Knit 850 blankets, made from 1000s of knitted squares to mark Glasgowβs 850th year. After an exhibition of the blankets they will be donated to Lodging House Mission and those facing homelessness.

Then it was on to the Blairdardie Primary Parent Council Fun Day. Another fantastic event, the success of which is a testament to the hard work of all those that made it happen. Huge thanks to the parent and community councils for such a joyful event filled with stalls, games, and real community spirit! It was great to catch up some familiar faces!
